The state of Alabama also requires that you take and pass a written Business Management exam for this trade.

Books Allowed in the Exam

1.	International Building Code, 2006, ICC.
2.	International Residential Code for One- and Two-Family Dwellings, 2006, ICC.
3.	Code of Federal Regulations - 29 CFR Part 1926 (OSHA), Revised as of 2004 or later - OR - (OSHA) Excerpts as of 2003 by PSI.
4.	Modern Masonry: Brick, Block, Stone, 7th Edition, 2010, Clois E. Kicklighter.
5.	ACI 530-05 or 08: Building Code Requirements for Masonry Structures, 2005 or 2008, ACI.

You must bring your own reference books to the exam which adhere to the restrictions stated in the PSI candidate bulletin.
