Pearson VUE Statement on Passing Scores

The Board has decided to provide candidates with only pass/fail results because the examinations have been developed to differentiate only two candidate statuses: those who have demonstrated entry-level-safe performance required for RW, JW, or ME licensure; and
those who have not.

No numeric score is provided for either a passing or a failing candidate.

Books Allowed in the Exam

1. National Electrical Code (NFPA-70), 2008, NFPA.
Electrical code books will be provided at the test center.
You may NOT use your personal code books.
