QUESTION:  “What is the difference between the National Electrical Code (NEC) and the NEC Handbook (both published by NFPA)?”.  The Handbook is the exact same content with additional inserted drawings and explainations of code applications.  In our opinion, the typical exam candidate does not need the additional information which is mainly designed for engineers and inspectors.
