The Louisiana State Licensing Board for Contractors has not made
passing percentage and the time allowed to take the exam available in the study guide for this
trade.
In Louisiana you must also pass a Business and Law Exam unless you are already a licensed contractor who is adding a classification to your license.

According to the Louisiana State Licensing Board for Contractors,
"The 'trade' examinations are based upon general working knowledge of the field in which
you wish to be licensed." In their study guides the Board states that the reference materials
listed "may NOT necessarily cover all information needed to pass the exam." The study
guide also states that "the reference list contains a representative sample of materials
that are available which contain information relavent to the examination."
