The Nevada licensing process requires that you pass a Contractor Management Survey Exam
unless you are already a licensed contractor who is adding a classification to his/her license.

Books Allowed in the Exam

1. ASME A17.1 - Safety Code for Elevators and Escalators, 2004, ASME.
2. ASME A18.1 - Safety Standards for Platform Lifts and Stairway Chairlifts, 2005, ASME.
These references will not be available in the examination center.  Please see the PSI candidate bulletin regarding restrictions on personal copies.

1. ANSI A10.4 - Safety Requirements for Personnel Hoists, 1990, ANSI.
2. ANSI A117.1 - Accessible and Usable Buildings and Facilities, 2003, ANSI.
