License Exam Preparation

| General Info |
| Licenses are required for commercial and residential contractor, prime
contractor, or sub-contractor, electrician, journeyman electrician, HVAC certification, Plumbing (master
and journeyman) and gas fitting. |
| Reciprocity |
|
If you hold a license in good standing in a comparable classification in Arkansas, Mississippi, Louisiana,
and Tennessee, the trade portion of the exam will be waived upon written certification. Compliance
with all other Alabama licensing requirements is mandatory. The business and law portion of the exam
will NOT be waived. You will have to be licensed in the reciprocal state for at least 3 years
consecutively with the same classification being applied for in Alabama.
