The EEQ Learner Software

There are two versions of the EEQ Learner Computer Software:

State-Specific Trade and/or Business and Law Core

State Specific Software

This product includes sample questions from recommended reference materials listed on our trade specific web pages including statutes and administrative code for specific state. 

Business and Law Core

This product includes over five hundred (500) sample questions from reference material that is common to all states.  Please note that even though some states have specific Business and Law books such as the NASCLA series, much of the information is the same from one state to another.  Subjects covered in the core study material are as follows:

General Discription

The EEQ Learner Computer Software is delivered to you on a CDROM disk, loads by itself and is self prompting.  It operates on most PC's* running Windows 98, 2000 or XP (see notice for Vista).  The EEQ Learner is designed for the construction professional who is comfortable at a PC or laptop.  If you do not have time to attend class, enjoy the use of your computer, and want to have the feel of test preparation on a computer (much the same as the computerized exams), then the EEQ Learner Software is for you.

The software program contains the same information as the printed materials: questions, answers, correct answer, page/paragraph reference to the book where the question has been taken, commentary on the question where needed, math solutions where needed, and diagrams when the question refers to one.

The EEQ Learner Software program allows you to study in 3 separate modes:

Tutorial mode lists the question and up to four possible answers with the correct answer indicated by a selected option button.  If the question requires calculation to arrive at the answer or there is some additional information or notes associated with the question, that information will be included with the text of the question. Tutorial mode also lists the Reference where the information can be found.

In Practice mode, forty (40) questions will be selected at random from the subject file.  Each question is shown with up to four possible answers.  The order that the possible answers are listed is also selected at random for each question.

In timed Exam mode, fifty (50) questions will be selected at random from the subject file.  Each question is shown with up to four possible answers.  The order that the possible answers are listed is also selected at random for each question.

NOTICES:

1. You do NOT need Microsoft Access to use the EEQ Learner Software.
2. If you are installing on a computer running any variation Windows Vista, you may experience problems or see error messages.  This is a Microsoft issue.  You must contact Microsoft support for your version of Vista.  We would greatly appreciate your feedback at the link below on how your issue was resolved so that we can post recurring fixes on our web site.
