NOTE: Our study material for this exam will include sample questions for “Major Load Calculations” and “General Trade Knowledge” from Ugly's References, Chapter 9 Tables and Annex D of the NEC.
We highly recommend that you purchase one of the reference books above to study for your exam. Each book is a comprehensive subject index to the NEC. They provide an even faster way to look up answers in the code and are far more detailed than the index at the end of the code book.
NOTICE: For the calculations portion of the examination, Annex D in the NEC is a good source of examples. There are no questions from Annex D contained in our set of questions. Additionally, we give you a list of questions in our answer key that may apply to calculations. You will want to purchase a separate book that covers calculations in more depth like the one we recommend above.
Questions are sourced from the NEC and Washington statutes shown above.
Informaion is included about additional free sample questions and links to essential sources of electrical calculations to assist in drilling for your exam.
Additional bonus questions are included from Ugly's Electrical References.
