The two buttons below give you access to the exam bulletin published by Minnesota DOLI and the table we have built to relate knowledge areas in the bulletin to NEC code section numbers:
|200‑225||Wiring and Protection|
|250||Grounding and Bonding|
|300||Wiring Methods and Materials|
|400‑427, 445‑490||Electrical Equipment|
|N/A||Applied Electrical Theory, Electrical Systems and Equipment|
NOTE: The study material we are offering for this exam will include sample questions for the last subject area (above) from “Ugly‘s Electrical References” which will be added to your order.
We highly recommend that you purchase one of the reference books above to study for your exam. Each book is a comprehensive subject index to the NEC. They provide an even faster way to look up answers in the code and are far more detailed than the index at the end of the code book.
The book above contains practical applications of the NEC such as Ohm‘s Law, series/parallel circuits, voltage drop, load calculations, motor phases, impediance, inductance and math formulas you are expected to know. The basic knowledge covered in the exam is assumed and not usually listed as subjects covered.
The price of study materials is based on the number of questions contained in the files you receive.
Questions are sourced from the NEC and Ugly's Reference. The content is adjusted for subjects listed in the Minnesota DOLI Knowledge table. The Master exam package (highest priced) contains 2,138 sample questions.
